About

Built in the EU, for code that has to stay there.

BorgMark is sovereign Git and CI/CD for agencies that answer to regulated clients. We host the open-source Forgejo forge on EU infrastructure, under EU jurisdiction — so "where does the code live?" has a one-line answer.

Why we built it

The toolchain became the audit finding.

Agencies kept hitting the same wall: a bank, insurer or government client asks where the source code lives, and "it's on GitHub" no longer passes the security questionnaire. The toolchain — not the application — became the finding.

BorgMark removes that finding. It's the Git platform teams already know, hosted and operated inside the EU, with the build pipeline in the same jurisdiction. No US parent company, no VPS to babysit, no proprietary lock-in.

BorgMark is operated by BV CEEJAY, an independent Belgian company. We run the infrastructure ourselves — the people who answer your security questions are the people who operate the platform.

What we stand for

Principles, not posture.

Jurisdiction as architecture

Compliance is engineered into where the code and pipelines run — not bolted on as paperwork.

Open by default

An open-source core means no black box and no lock-in. Your exit is a clone away.

EU all the way down

Data, runners, artifacts and sub-processors all stay in the EU. No hidden hop to a US region.

Run by the operators

The people who answer your security questionnaire are the people who run the platform.
